The third session of our study group on Rojava/ Kurdish movement and the Zapatistas will take place on Saturday November 20th @ 2pm EDT. This month we are exploring the emergence of the EZLN and PKK-led guerrilla struggle in Chiapas and North Kurdistan (Turkey) respectively, as well as the PKK’s influence on the Kurdish movement in Rojava. This will be followed by a session on the ideological transformations from vanguardism to communal revolution which both these movements underwent.
