Rojava and the Zapatistas - Session #3

The second session of our study group on Rojava and the Zapatistas will take place on Saturday November 20th @ 2pm Eastern. This month we are exploring the ideological transformations from vanguardism to democratic autonomy which both these movements underwent. Zoom link and readings coming soon…

The third session of our study group on Rojava/ Kurdish movement and the Zapatistas will take place on Saturday November 20th @ 2pm EDT. This month we are exploring the emergence of the EZLN and PKK-led guerrilla struggle in Chiapas and North Kurdistan (Turkey) respectively, as well as the PKK’s influence on the Kurdish movement in Rojava. This will be followed by a session on the ideological transformations from vanguardism to communal revolution which both these movements underwent.
