Rojava is Under Attack

The events of the last week have dramatically redrawn the political map in Syria and sparked a humanitarian disaster for Kurds and other minority communities in the country's north.

As the al-Qaeda offshoot HTS takes control of major cities from the Assad regime, the Turkish-backed SNA has taken control of Shehba canton, displacing at least 100,000 people from the autonomous Kurdish-majority region, and surrounding thousands more in the Kurdish neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyah in the city of Aleppo. The situation on the ground is changing rapidly as the fall of the regime looks possible and the future of Syria remains uncertain.

Please take a moment to call your representatives in congress and demand that they take immediate action to ensure the protection of communities in northern Syria and hold Turkey and its proxy forces accountable for these war crimes.
