ECR's Ozlem Goner with Stand With Kashmir

ECR's Ozlem Goner presents at this panel at UMass Amherst organized by Stand With Kashmir. A great opportunity to link the struggles in Rojava, Syria, Kashmir and Palestine.

The Stand with Kashmir chapter at UMass Amherst is happy to invite you for their inaugural event.

The desire for freedom and peace unites the Kashmiris, Kurds, Palestinians, Syrians and many others living under military tyranny, political oppression and occupation. What also connects them is their resilience and their will to fight for freedom, peace, justice, and the right to self-determination. The fight for daily survival forms the basis for the affinities and unities among these struggles. This panel, brings together coalitions of scholars and activists from Kashmir, Syria, Rojava, and Palestine to talk about their histories of resistance, imaginaries of liberation and decolonization.

Speakers:
Dr. Mohamad Junaid (Stand with Kashmir)
Dr. Ozlem Goner (Emergency Committee for Rojava)
Journalist Budour Hassan (JLAC Palestine) Skype in
Dr. Yasser Munif (Global Solidarity with Syria)
